Shelfarr
Self-hosted ebook and audiobook request system for the *arr ecosystem
Visit shelfarr.org ↗What is Shelfarr?
Shelfarr is a self-hosted application that lets users request ebooks and audiobooks, which the system then searches for across indexers and direct sources, downloads automatically, and delivers to Audiobookshelf. It's designed for people running media server stacks who want the same request-and-automate workflow for books that they have for video content.
The platform includes book discovery through Open Library and Hardcover, smart acquisition from torrent indexers like Prowlarr and Jackett, direct downloads from Anna's Archive and Z-Library, multi-user support with role-based access, two-factor authentication, OIDC/SSO integration, and notifications via Discord, Telegram, and webhooks. Users can also manually upload files to fulfill requests, set format preferences for automatic selection, and route downloads to specific clients.
