Visit bookorbit.app ↗What is BookOrbit?
BookOrbit is a self-hosted reading platform that organizes and syncs your personal library across devices. It supports ebooks, audiobooks, comics, and PDFs with built-in readers for each format. Your files remain on your own hardware, and reading progress, highlights, and status automatically synchronize across iPhone, Apple Watch, web, Kobo, and KOReader.
The platform includes 14 metadata providers, reading analytics, multi-user support with OIDC/SSO, OPDS catalog feeds, and integrations with Hardcover, Readwise, and StoryGraph. Docker deployment makes setup straightforward. According to build evidence, the project was developed using Claude AI coding tools.
