openGym is a self-hosted gym and bodyweight tracker with no subscription, ads, or telemetry. It runs on Android or self-hosted via Docker, syncs across devices with passkey login, and stores all data locally under your control.
Features include guided workouts with automatic weight carryover, rest timers, and PR alerts; progression rules (linear, Greyskull LP, double progression); optional AI coaching via Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini, or local Ollama; a muscle map showing volume balance, fatigue, and strength gaps; and a database of 5,632 animated exercises.
