Python library for writing 3D objects as code, optimized for LLMs
Visit sandflow.ai ↗What is Sand3D, the most diverse 3D-as-code dataset library · Sandfl?
Sand3D is a Python library that lets you define 3D models as short programs using profiles, solids, edits, frames, joints, and assemblies built on Blender's bpy. Each object is written as a single Python file describing how parts are shaped, positioned, and materialized—typically a few hundred tokens per model.
The project includes a 100,000-object open-source dataset where every 3D asset is written in Sand3D code. Use cases span product visualization, packshots, point clouds, video blocking, game assets, and research. Built with Claude-code, the library is designed to be LLM-friendly so AI tools can generate and understand 3D models programmatically.
