LocaliOS
Three iOS apps for managing photos, music, and contacts as local files
Visit j23n.com ↗What is LocaliOS?
LocaliOS is a suite of three iOS applications designed for users who prefer storing personal data as files rather than relying on cloud services. It includes LocalGallery for browsing photos with EXIF metadata search, LocalTunes for playing music with M3U playlist support, and LocalContacts for managing vCard files with Apple Contacts sync. All three apps work offline, require no accounts, and keep your data portable and accessible.
Each app reads from a local folder on your iPhone synced via tools like Syncthing. The creator built LocaliOS with Claude Code to bridge the gap between a files-first Linux setup and iOS, enabling the same data to work across desktop and mobile without vendor lock-in.
