Visit journiv.com ↗What is Journiv?
Journiv is a self-hosted journaling application designed for users who want complete control over their personal data. It offers mood and activity tracking, writing prompts, media uploads, analytics, and advanced search capabilities through a minimal interface. The app prioritizes privacy with no telemetry or data collection, allowing users to run it on their own infrastructure.
Features include custom mood and goal tracking, prompt-based journaling to overcome blank pages, integration with self-hosted Immich for photo storytelling, and insights into writing patterns and mood trends. Users can capture quick moments and expand them into full journal entries, plus revisit past entries through the "On This Day" feature. The project is in active beta development and available as open-core software with optional Plus features.
