HatchZip
Extract huge archives using only the space needed for extracted files
Visit xevrion.github.io ↗What is HatchZip?
HatchZip is a free, open-source archive extraction tool for Windows, macOS, and Linux that extracts ZIP, 7z, tar, and split archives while minimizing disk space requirements. Instead of needing space for both the archive and extracted files simultaneously, it extracts from the archive end and removes each finished part, reclaiming space as it progresses. The tool verifies extraction will fit before starting, maintains a safety margin throughout, and can resume after interruption or crash.
