SkySend is a minimalist file and note sharing service with client-side encryption using AES-256-GCM. Files and notes are encrypted entirely in the browser before reaching the server, which stores only encrypted data and never accesses decryption keys. The service requires no accounts, tracking, or analytics, and is available as open-source software for self-hosting or through public community instances.
The platform supports drag-and-drop multi-file uploads, folder sharing, configurable expiry times and download limits, optional password protection, and encrypted text notes with Markdown rendering. It includes a cross-platform CLI and REST API for automation and CI/CD integration. According to build evidence, the project was developed using Claude Code.
