Rack
Local queryable database for APIs, notes, and data—operated by Claude
Visit rack.dev ↗What is Rack?
Rack is a local-first data system that pulls information from APIs, spreadsheets, GitHub, and other sources into a single DuckDB database you control. You describe what you want to track, and Claude Code writes the scripts to fetch, ingest, and query your data. Everything stays on your machine with no cloud accounts or infrastructure needed.
The system stores data as plain text files and Markdown dashboards viewable in Obsidian. Use cases range from tracking satellite launches and restaurant openings to monitoring ocean temperatures and analyzing chess games. Rack is designed for people who want transparent, reproducible data pipelines they can read and modify.
