OpenReply is a free, open-source tool that automatically sends Instagram direct messages when people comment specific keywords on your posts or reels. It uses Meta's official Instagram API—no password sharing or browser automation—and runs entirely on your own infrastructure with no subscription fees or seat limits.
The tool lets you set up campaigns with custom reply messages, optional public comments, and tracked link buttons. It includes delivery logs, inbox management, and supports triggers from post comments, incoming DMs, and Story replies. Built with Next.js and React for the dashboard, Node.js with BullMQ for background workers, and PostgreSQL and Redis for data storage.
