MailCraft is a free, open-source email client built in Rust for Windows, macOS, Linux, and FreeBSD. It supports Gmail, Microsoft 365, Exchange, iCloud Mail, Yahoo Mail, Fastmail, and any IMAP/SMTP or POP3 account. The app stores mail locally on your computer with a three-pane interface: folders, date-grouped message list, and reading pane, plus integrated calendar and contacts.
Features include offline access with cached folders, fast search across all messages, support for CalDAV and CardDAV, mail rules, multiple accounts in one window, and the ability to import Outlook .pst files. Passwords remain in your system keychain. Built with Claude Code, the project is open-source on GitHub with no subscription, tracking, or sign-up required.
