OpenBox
Unified game library for Steam, GOG, ROMs, and more. Local-first, open source
Visit openboxgl.github.io ↗What is OpenBox?
OpenBox is a local game library manager that aggregates titles from Steam, GOG, Heroic, Lutris, ROM folders, arcade sets, and emulators into a single searchable interface. It runs on Linux, Windows, and Steam Deck without collecting telemetry or taking control away from existing launchers.
The app features a shelf-style browsing interface with search and filtering, controller support optimized for handheld and TV play, and per-game settings like gamescope profiles and TDP adjustments. Built-in tools include local save versioning, media management, and a couch-friendly Game Night mode. Built with Claude-code.
