Hermes One
Self-improving AI assistant with tool use and multi-platform messaging
Visit hermesone.org ↗What is Hermes One?
Hermes One is a native desktop application that provides a graphical interface for Hermes Agent, a self-improving AI assistant built by Nous Research. It features a closed learning loop where the agent creates and refines skills from experience, maintains deep memory across sessions, and builds a model of user preferences over time. The app supports multi-platform messaging via Telegram, Discord, Slack, WhatsApp, Signal, and CLI from a single gateway.
The platform offers autonomous scheduling, task delegation with parallel subagents, and access to 14 toolsets including web search, code execution, vision, and image generation. Users can connect any LLM provider—OpenAI, Anthropic, Ollama, or others—without vendor lock-in. Hermes One runs on macOS, Windows, and Linux, with deployment options ranging from local machines to Docker, SSH, or cloud platforms. The project is free, open-source under MIT license, and maintained by the community.
