Kun
Local-first AI agent workspace with desktop GUI and terminal TUI
Visit kun-agent.com ↗What is Kun?
Kun is a local-first workspace that moves AI from answering questions to completing real work. It provides complementary interfaces: Code mode for software delivery with integrated design canvas, Work mode for writing and document analysis, and Rooms for multi-agent collaboration. Both desktop GUI and terminal TUI share a single local runtime, keeping threads, approvals, plans, and evidence continuous across interfaces.
The platform supports planning, execution, verification, and delivery of tasks with full context awareness. Agents can read workspace context, create plans, call tools, modify files, run tests, and leave evidence alongside tasks. It supports multiple AI models and providers including OpenAI, Anthropic, Ollama, and others, with local-first data storage by default.
