EGC
Shared persistent memory for AI coding tools across sessions and applications
Visit fmarzochi.github.io ↗What is EGC?
EGC is a local-first runtime that gives AI coding tools a unified memory of your project context, architectural decisions, and preferences. Install once and tools like Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, and 17+ others automatically share encrypted project memory, safety rules, and live context updates. Each session picks up where the last left off without re-explaining your stack or decisions.
The system stores memory locally in `~/.egc` using AES-256-GCM encryption, kept per project and branch. It works with Claude, GPT-4o, Gemini, DeepSeek, Mistral, and other models via OpenRouter. Nothing leaves your machine. The maker built it as an open-source tool available via npm.
