Flag Buddy is an interactive game designed for children to learn flags from countries worldwide. Built with accessibility in mind, it features audio narration for pre-readers and three difficulty levels ranging from well-known flags to lesser-known ones. Players choose between two modes: identify the country from a flag or name the flag for a given country.
The creator built an initial prototype with Claude and expanded it into a full browser game after receiving feature requests from their five-year-old. The interface prioritizes visual design and voice guidance, making it playable for children who cannot yet read.
