DockTail
Expose Docker containers as Tailscale Services using labels
Visit docktail.org ↗What is DockTail?
DockTail automatically exposes Docker containers as native Tailscale Services through simple label-based configuration. It monitors Docker events in real-time, detects labeled containers, and makes them accessible on your Tailnet without requiring port publishing or separate Tailscale devices per container. The tool supports HTTP, HTTPS, TCP, TLS, Tailscale Funnel for public access, and automatic reconciliation when containers restart.
Designed for teams running containerized applications who want to integrate with Tailscale's service mesh model. DockTail includes optional cloud monitoring for fleet-wide service catalogs and health tracking. According to the project, it was built using Claude AI coding tools.
