Data Engineering Agent Skills is an open-source registry of 70+ production-grade workflows that enable AI agents to define, plan, implement, validate, and deploy data products with engineering discipline. It covers ingestion, transformation, orchestration, streaming, warehousing, governance, and incident recovery across AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake, and Apache platforms through vendor-neutral presets.
The toolkit includes 14 platform presets, 13 end-to-end examples, contract-first design patterns, and operational guardrails like schema validation and backfill safety. It provides a seven-step delivery lifecycle (spec, plan, build, validate, review, backfill, ship) and integrates with VS Code and JetBrains IDEs. The repository was built using Claude Code, Cursor, and Gemini CLI.
