BoardRipper is a browser-based viewer for PCB boardview files used in electronics repair and diagnostics. It supports 14 boardview formats and displays matching PDF schematics side by side. The tool runs entirely client-side with no file uploads, offers GPU-accelerated rendering, and includes dockable panels for flexible layouts.
Available as a lightweight web version (7 MB single file, fully offline), a full-featured Docker container with shared libraries and board databases, or a desktop application. The maker built it using Claude Code. Free and open-source under AGPL-3.0.
