World Monitor is a free, open-source dashboard that aggregates geopolitical, maritime, aviation, infrastructure, and market data onto a single live map. It correlates signals from hundreds of feeds and flags convergence patterns before they become headlines, with all sources and methods documented. The tool serves analysts, researchers, and decision-makers who need situational awareness across global events.
The platform offers 57 map layers, 461 news feeds, and live instability indices for 31 countries. Users can verify breaking events, monitor shipping chokepoints, or trace country-risk drivers through evidence trails. World Monitor includes a desktop app for macOS, Windows, and Linux, multilingual support, and local AI processing via Ollama. The project is built with TypeScript and available as REST API, MCP, npm, PyPI, Go, and RubyGems packages.
