Wegent

Wegent is an open-source AI work system that spans local desktops, cloud agents, and remote machines. It includes Wegent Desktop, a local workbench for organizing coding projects and tasks, and Wegent Web, a self-hostable platform for browser-based agents, knowledge management, and team automation. The system lets users define agent roles and tools, manage tasks across teams, and run work on local machines, remote devices, or server-managed executors.

Designed for developers and teams, Wegent combines a desktop coding environment with collaborative project spaces, shared files, task boards, and execution history. Users can organize local projects by task, review code changes and test results, and connect to a Wegent Backend for team access and shared resources. The project is built with Claude integration for AI capabilities.
