Unterm
Terminal that AI agents can control, with a cockpit to manage multiple agents
Visit unterm.app ↗What is Unterm?
Unterm is a cross-platform terminal designed to be driven by AI agents like Claude Code, Codex, and Gemini. It provides an Agent Cockpit interface showing what each agent is doing in real time, prioritizing tasks that need human input, and letting agents control the terminal through MCP (Model Context Protocol) and CLI commands. Everything runs locally on your machine.
The tool supports running multiple agents in parallel on the same task using isolated git worktrees, so they don't interfere with each other. You can compare their work side by side, review diffs, and merge the best results. The maker says it was built with Claude Code. It's free and open source under MIT license, available for macOS, Windows, and Linux.
