Tunnet
Open-source private mesh networking for machines, apps, and SSH
Visit tunnet.io ↗What is Tunnet?
Tunnet is an open-source platform for connecting laptops, servers, and CI runners into a single encrypted private network. Users can SSH by hostname, serve internal applications over HTTPS, and publish public tunnels—all without a VPN or bastion host. The project provides the agent, control plane, management API, dashboard, and relay infrastructure as open-source code that can be fully self-hosted.
The platform unifies mesh networking, public tunneling, internal service access, file transfer, and identity-based SSH under one policy engine and ACL system. It runs on macOS, Linux, Windows, Docker, Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions, with support for ACME certificates and custom DNS configuration.
