Visit demo.liketrek.com ↗What is TREK?
TREK is a self-hosted travel planning application designed for groups organizing trips together. It combines interactive maps (supporting Leaflet, Mapbox GL, and MapLibre GL), budget tracking, packing lists, and a journal in one platform. Users can drag places between days, search and enrich locations with data from OpenStreetMap and Wikipedia, import from Google Maps or GPX files, and auto-sort itineraries using routing profiles.
The platform handles bookings across 16 types (flights, trains, accommodation, etc.), with support for importing confirmations from emails and PDFs. Additional features include 16-day weather forecasts, public transport routing, collaborative editing with real-time sync, and export options. According to the repository, the project was built using Claude Code.
