Town
Discord-style chat in a pixel town where AI NPCs have real skills
Visit town.getcore.me ↗What is Town?
Town is a multiplayer social space where you walk around a pixel map, enter buildings, and talk to AI characters with distinct personalities and tool access. Each NPC is an autonomous agent with its own voice, backstory, and skillset—some can search the web, write documents, or issue items. Real people wander the same map live, and you can join group chats with both humans and AI in shared rooms.
The platform includes pre-built towns like AI Startup (pitch to investor NPCs), Murder Mystery (solve a case), and Roast Town (learn roasting). The creator built it using Claude Code to prototype the agent patterns, turning initial brainstorming tools into a shareable experience where others can design their own towns and characters.
