The Apiary
Shared memory system for AI coding agents on your own hardware
Visit theapiary.sh ↗What is The Apiary?
The Apiary is a local-first stack of tools that gives AI coding agents a unified memory layer across sessions, tools, and devices. It includes Honeycomb for persistent memory storage, Nectar for semantic code understanding, Hive as a unified portal, and Doctor for system health monitoring. Designed for developers using multiple coding assistants, it solves the problem of agents forgetting context and decisions between sessions.
The system runs on your own hardware (macOS, Linux, Windows) and supports 6+ coding assistants. It captures what happens during development, distills insights into searchable notes, and automatically primes the next session with relevant context. The makers note it was built as a collaboration between Legion Code Inc. and Activeloop.
