Terminalcore is a PC-based rhythm game that combines music gameplay with a retro terminal interface. Players hit keys in sync with the beat across multiple difficulty levels, using D, F, J, and K keys to match on-screen prompts. The game features a leaderboard to track high scores and compete with others.
The creator built Terminalcore using Claude Code and manually crafted beatmaps since AI struggled with music timing. A companion timeline editor tool was developed to streamline the beatmap creation process. The game currently includes three tracks, each with its own difficulty level.
