Tallyo
Open-source invoicing with AI to extract client details and line items
Visit tallyo-dev.netlify.app ↗What is Tallyo?
Tallyo is an open-source invoicing platform for freelancers and small businesses. It handles tax numbers, bank details, VAT notes, and payment tracking on every invoice. Users set up their business once, save clients with their own currencies and tax IDs, then generate and send PDFs. An optional AI feature (via Groq API) extracts company details from client messages and drafts line items from job descriptions. The app runs on your own server under MIT license with no signup fees or trial restrictions.
Built with Next.js 16, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, MongoDB, and Better Auth. Early development stage with accounts and workspaces functional; invoices and PDFs in progress.
