SkillMind
Vector database memory layer for AI coding assistants
Visit skill-mind.com ↗What is SkillMind?
SkillMind replaces scattered markdown notes with a searchable vector database that automatically captures and organizes knowledge from git commits, code changes, conversations, videos, and screenshots. It classifies memories into five types, deduplicates similar content, and redacts sensitive data like API keys before storage.
Designed for developers using Claude Code, SkillMind surfaces only relevant context per conversation through semantic search, eliminating the need to manually load dozens of files. The maker built it with Claude Code. It supports six backends including Pinecone, ChromaDB, Supabase, and Qdrant, includes 27 MCP tools, and is open source under MIT license.
