Rustrak
Self-hosted error tracking compatible with Sentry SDKs
Visit rustrak.github.io ↗What is Rustrak?
Rustrak is a lightweight, self-hosted error tracking server that accepts events from official Sentry SDKs by changing a single configuration line. It handles errors, logs, transactions, release health, and AI-agent traces through a single DSN, running as one process with SQLite by default. The project describes itself as compatible with Sentry's protocol rather than requiring new agents or code rewrites.
Designed for teams wanting to keep event data on their own infrastructure without per-event pricing or sampling, Rustrak runs efficiently on modest hardware—handling bursts of 20,000 events at around 5,000 per second while using under 60 MB of memory. The dashboard is served as static files, and ingestion uses two-phase processing so accepting events never blocks on database operations. Built with Claude Code according to the repository.
