EmDash

EmDash is a TypeScript-based content management system designed for Astro sites and AI coding agents. It provides a modern admin interface with content modeling, draft management, revisions, and scheduling. The system generates TypeScript types from your schema and renders content server-side from structured JSON, combining the CMS and frontend into one end-to-end platform.

Built on Astro and Cloudflare (or Node.js with SQLite), EmDash ships with three starter templates: blog, marketing, and portfolio. It includes WordPress-like features such as pages, posts, media management, menus, widgets, and taxonomies, plus a built-in importer for migrating existing WordPress content. The project emphasizes security through sandboxed plugins that run in isolated Worker environments with declared capability manifests.
