Prospec

Prospec is a CLI tool that establishes a common development pipeline for AI coding agents like Claude Code, Copilot, and Codex. It organizes work through eight stages—story, plan, design, tasks, implement, review, verify, and archive—with deterministic state management and automated quality gates at each step.

The system combines three components: Skills that provide decision guidance at each station, an AI Knowledge base that preserves project context and lessons learned, and a CLI that enforces state transitions and verification checks. Built with TypeScript and Node.js, Prospec helps teams keep specs and project rules alongside code while ensuring any agent can resume work mid-pipeline.
