OpenFang
Open-source Agent Operating System for autonomous agents running 24/7
Visit openfang.sh ↗What is OpenFang?
OpenFang is an open-source Agent Operating System built in Rust that enables autonomous agents to work independently on schedules without requiring user prompts. Unlike traditional chatbot frameworks, it compiles to a single binary and runs agents called "Hands"—pre-built capability packages that perform tasks like competitor research, lead generation, social media management, and knowledge graph building.
The system includes 7 bundled Hands, 16 security systems, 53 tools, 40 communication channels, and support for 27 LLM providers. It features a WASM sandbox, Merkle audit trail, taint tracking, and a local dashboard. The project is built with Rust and integrates Claude for code-related tasks.
