open-compute
Self-hosted Cloudflare Workers platform in a single Rust binary
Visit open-compute.dev ↗What is open-compute?
open-compute is a self-hosted platform that runs Cloudflare Workers-compatible code on your own infrastructure with one binary and no external dependencies. It includes the Workers runtime, control plane, scheduler, and product bindings like KV, D1, R2, Durable Objects, Queues, and Workflows. The project is built in Rust and uses SQLite for metadata and local or S3-compatible storage for objects.
Designed for developers who want to run Workers workloads on their own hardware without Kubernetes, Redis, or a distributed control plane, open-compute lets you deploy using familiar Wrangler workflows and keep existing Worker code and framework integrations. It supports TypeScript, Python, and Rust, and works with ecosystems like Next.js, Astro, Hono, and FastAPI.
