Norma is a governance tool that enforces your organization's coding standards within AI coding agents. It integrates via MCP with Cursor, Claude Code, Lovable, Replit, and other compatible editors, automatically detecting your tech stack and applying relevant rulesets before code is written.
The tool checks every file against your rules and returns consistent, auditable results—the same file and ruleset always produce the same verdict. Violations are tagged with severity, line number, and fix guidance. Rulesets cover security, performance, scalability, manageability, maintainability, and architecture across TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, and frameworks like React, Supabase, and FastAPI.
