Micracode
Open-source AI app builder that runs locally on your desktop
Visit micracode.com ↗What is Micracode?
Micracode is a desktop application that generates working apps from natural language descriptions using an AI agent. You describe what you want to build, and the tool writes and edits code in real time, which you can then iterate on through chat or direct editing in a Monaco editor. Everything runs locally on your machine with no external database or authentication required.
The platform supports React, Vue, and Svelte frameworks, works with any OpenAI-compatible model, and lets you deploy anywhere without vendor lock-in. Fully open source under the MIT License, Micracode is built with Next.js, Electron, and TypeScript, giving developers complete control over their generated code and API keys.
