MossX
Multi-engine AI coding desktop client supporting Claude Code and other runtimes
Visit mossx.ai ↗What is MossX?
MossX is an open-source graphical client that unifies multiple AI coding engines—including Claude Code, Codex CLI, Kimi CLI, Grok CLI, and others—into a single desktop application. Instead of working in a terminal, users can select a project and interact with their chosen AI engine through a visual interface to generate code, debug issues, and manage Git commits.
The application displays streaming output, reasoning traces, and tool calls in real time, with token usage tracked as reported by each engine. Built with Tauri 2, React 18, TypeScript, and Rust, MossX runs on macOS, Windows, and Linux with local state persistence. Each AI provider is integrated through a dedicated protocol adapter in the Rust backend.
