LoopX is a local-first control plane designed to manage long-horizon AI agent work across multiple sessions. It maintains durable goals, tracks decisions, preserves evidence, and enforces human approval gates, allowing agents to resume work safely without losing context. The system works with multiple agent runtimes including Codex, Claude Code, and DeepSeek Harness.
Built as an open-source project, LoopX provides a personal agent workspace where goals, tasks, and recovery state persist across restarts and provider changes. Users can inspect previous session results, review agent decisions, and approve next actions before continuation. The maker reports achieving 17.3% performance improvement over plain agent baselines in benchmark testing.
