kaos-control
Self-hosted lifecycle management for AI-assisted software delivery
Visit kaos-control.io ↗What is kaos-control?
kaos-control is a single Go binary that orchestrates ideas from conception through release as markdown artifacts stored in git. It structures work through configurable stages—capture, requirements, planning, development, tests, and release—with each step producing traceable outputs. Users can assign roles (analyst, planner, developer, QA) to AI agents or humans interchangeably, selecting which model powers each role to manage token spend and keep sensitive code local.
Designed for teams building with AI coding tools, it solves the visibility problem: tracking where ideas originate, how requirements flow into plans, and linking every deployed line back to its original request. The maker says it was built to work with Claude Code agents. All work lives in a git repository with full lineage tracking, enabling audit trails and cost transparency.
