amux
Open-source control plane for coordinating multiple AI coding agents
Visit amux.io ↗What is amux?
amux is a dashboard and mobile app for running teams of AI coding agents in parallel. It coordinates Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, and other agents from a single interface, giving them shared task boards, atomic work claiming, inter-worker messaging, and model switching capabilities. The system is designed for developers who want to orchestrate multiple agents without manual coordination overhead.
Built as a single Rust binary and self-hosted on SQLite, amux includes scheduling, autonomous loops for overnight runs, live terminal access, and self-healing recovery. Workers can peek into each other's sessions, claim tasks atomically to prevent duplication, and steer mid-task from the dashboard or phone. The maker says it was built with Claude Code.
