Jenny

Jenny is a personal AI agent designed to run on Android devices with data stored locally on the phone. It maintains permanent on-device memory through a "Dream" process that periodically distills conversations into structured Markdown files, supports bring-your-own API key or fully offline operation with local models, and can function as your phone's home screen. The agent performs scheduled actions independently, writes its own mini-apps on request, and requires no account, subscription, or telemetry.

Jenny is built for users who prioritize data ownership and privacy. It works with 40+ model providers or entirely offline with a local model on your LAN. The project is open-source under AGPL-3.0 and was developed using Claude Code, requiring only an Android 8+ device and an API key to set up.
