As a hand crank turns, a rotating brass drum causes metal pins to pluck tuned steel teeth, creating sound through Web Audio Spatialization across 18 nodes. The experience is best enjoyed with headphones.
Move around the virtual space to hear the sound shift in direction and volume based on your position. The 3D model was hand-crafted in Blender, while the maker used AI to generate most of the JavaScript, HTML, and CSS code.
