fspec
Spec-driven project management for AI agents enforcing ACDD workflow
Visit fspec.dev ↗What is fspec?
fspec is a command-line tool that guides AI agents through structured software development. It enforces a discover → specify → test → implement workflow, preventing shortcuts like skipping tests or writing code before specifications. The tool works with Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Cline, and other AI coding assistants.
Developers can initialize fspec in a project, then use slash commands to bootstrap context and guide their AI agent through the ACDD methodology. For existing codebases, Reverse ACDD automatically analyzes code, tests, and specs to generate missing pieces and establish traceability. The project is open-source under MIT license and built in Rust.
