Frank

Frank is a local plugin for AI coding agents that enforces evidence-based responses and verification. It works with 20+ agents including Claude Code, Cursor, and Windsurf. When an agent's answer is disputed, Frank requires concrete verdicts backed by evidence and a check to settle uncertainty. After code edits, agents must provide command receipts or explicitly mark answers as unverified rather than claiming completion without proof.

The plugin uses local hooks to observe verification commands since the last edit, preventing agents from caving to user pushback on correct technical answers. Frank includes benchmarks showing how it reduces unverified claims and maintains calibrated responses under pressure, though it does not run tests itself or establish code correctness.
