Flue
Open TypeScript framework for building durable, autonomous AI agents
Visit flueframework.com ↗What is Flue?
Flue is a TypeScript-based framework for constructing autonomous AI agents that maintain state and context across conversations. Developers write agents as functions, composing them with models, tools, skills, and sandboxes to enable real work. The framework handles durability automatically—recording sessions in durable streams and resuming interrupted work when systems restart, supporting both single agents and multi-agent swarms.
Flue agents run locally via CLI or deploy to any hosted runtime. Built on Pi, the open agent harness, Flue provides a complete stack including sessions, tools, skills, filesystem access, and secure sandboxes where agents can execute commands and modify files. The project is designed for developers building the next generation of autonomous systems beyond simple chatbots.
