FilmCraft is a native video editing application built from scratch in Rust, available on macOS, Windows, and Linux. It provides a timeline-based workflow with source and program monitors, three-point editing, and frame-exact timecode handling. The editor includes color grading with curves and LUTs, about 55 video effects and 30 transitions, keyframe animation, broadcast-ready audio tools with EBU R128 metering, and native codec support for H.264, HEVC, ProRes, VP9, AAC, and Opus. Built with Claude Code, it's free and open source under MIT or Apache 2.0 licensing.
