Dipstick Alerts helps U.S. car owners find recalls and manufacturer service bulletins relevant to their vehicle. Users select a year, make, and model to search for issues, then optionally sign up for email notifications when new bulletins are published. Each result includes a plain-language summary, symptoms, next steps, and links to original manufacturer documents.

The tool draws data from NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) and covers U.S.-market vehicles from 2010 onward. A daily automated process scans for newly published recalls and bulletins, matches them to applicable vehicles, and prepares alerts for subscribers.
