CoworkOS is an open-source framework for coordinating people and AI agents on complex, multi-step projects. It handles long-running work across code, research, documents, presentations, CAD, Blender, and scientific workflows—with human oversight throughout. The system uses a three-layer runtime: a Main Agent plans and evaluates, a Coordinator dispatches subtasks, and optional Subagents execute scoped work. Built with Claude API (claude-code), CoworkOS supports recursive self-improvement, turning evaluation feedback into training iterations to boost performance across benchmarks.
