CommandMate
Multi-agent orchestration for AI coding tools with gates and approval workflows
Visit kewton.github.io ↗What is CommandMate?
CommandMate is a developer tool that coordinates multiple AI coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, Command Code, and others) on parallel tasks while keeping you in control. A lead agent distributes work as contracts into isolated Git worktrees, and gates verify each task's output before merging. You approve work explicitly rather than relaying decisions.
Designed for teams running issue-driven development, CommandMate records every run and ensures only verified work reaches your codebase. It runs locally on macOS, Linux, or Windows (WSL2) with no installation required beyond Node.js, npm, git, and tmux. The maker built it with Claude Code.
