Aura

Aura is a verification tool that tracks what AI coding agents actually changed in your codebase and why. It creates signed, tamper-proof records of each commit, comparing the agent's stated intent against the actual code modifications at the AST level. Non-engineers can understand changes in plain language rather than code diffs.

The tool works as a Git hook that validates whether agents built exactly what was requested, identifies unintended deletions, and provides auditable provenance for each symbol change. It supports Claude Code and other AI agents, offering both a CLI and desktop app for reviewing changes and querying the history of any file or line.
